In this fantasy shopkeeping adventure, your goal is simple: craft, enchant, and sell weapons to keep your shop running. Send heroes on quests, where they’ll bring back the rare items you need to craft your next masterpiece. Balance your finances and survive the chaos of a magical economy—can you make enough to stay afloat, or will your shop fade into history?
Customer Riddles
Riddle of the Relics, customers visit your forge bearing cryptic riddles and unusual requests for enchanted weapons and rare gear. It's up to you to decipher their clues, uncover what they truly need, and craft the perfect item using your tools and resources. The better your creations, the more gold you earn—rewarding both clever thinking and skilled craftsmanship.

Weapon Crafting
Craft powerful weapons using rare materials brought back by heroes from their quests. Combine enchanting magic and masterful forging to create one-of-a-kind gear, each with unique properties. From swords to axes, your creations will shape the fate of adventurers and your shop’s future.

Hero Quests
Send your heroes on dangerous quests to gather rare materials and gold. They’ll bring back valuable resources for crafting and enchanting your weapons, as well as gold to keep your shop running. Choose your heroes wisely, as their success or failure will impact your shop’s future.

Decision Making
In Riddle of the Relics, every weapon you craft presents a tough decision: sell it for gold or give it to a hero for their quest. Each choice impacts your shop’s future—selling brings immediate gold, while giving weapons to heroes can yield rare materials for crafting. Balance these decisions carefully, as they will determine whether you can make enough to keep your shop open or risk losing everything.

Post Mortem
Born from an ambitious idea and built under tight time constraints, this game is the product of deep collaboration, creative problem-solving, and hard-earned lessons. Despite early over scoping and technical hurdles, the team prioritized a polished, functional gameplay loop—trimming features and working through issues with open communication and relentless focus. The result is a uniquely detailed, tightly integrated experience that reflects each developer’s strengths and showcases the power of rapid prototyping and teamwork.
